Are you going green? No? Why?

All these quaestions are quite popular today and actually not all people can easily understand what are they talking about. What is "going green"? In a very broad sense this means that you just reject all the products that are made with the violation of the norms, the special norms to save the environment. Actually we can have a long talk about what kind of stuff is "green" and what is not but the idea is the following: all the products we purchase should not just contain a label "Der gruene Punkt" but also other labels that indicate that no animal has been hurt during the production of this stuff and so on. You get the idea what is going green. Saving the environment has become a trendy feature: all the celebs have suddenly become nature and pets loving persons and started making donations to nonprofit organizations whose aims are to save our enviroment and animals. At the same time no one prohibits them to appear on the red carpet strip wearing latest fashion fur. This is really ridiculous if not even jeering. Guys, if you are calling for greenism then find the courage to refuse from all this fashinable and luxurious stuff. Moreover, some even have gone far and declared that all the jewelry should be divided into green and non-green as well. Again, just a ridiculous declaration because green jewelry has absolutely different meaning. Green jewelry means that the diamonds, gold or other precious stones and metals are "clean", they have a transparent history: no one has been killed in military actions, say, in Africa for these stones and all these stones have a genuine certificate. That's it!

Green... going green... well, trendy? Ok, let it be so. The only question arises: Where have you been years ago and what have you personaly done to really SAVE our environment? Talk is cheap! Action is gold!

Ok, enough lyrics!
It is clear enough that people need jewelry and will buy jewelry no matter how "green" it is. Moreover, it is really hard to determine how green the jewelry is because if the professionals deal with stones and gold to prepare fake documents and certificats is just a piece of cake for them. But at Ruff&Cut we offer you authentic gold and silver and green (how could I forget about that!) jewelry. Please, browse through our products and have a look at our latest classic collections of earrings and rings.
